Job Title: Trade Credit Country Manager, Mexico

AIG is seeking a highly skilled Trade Credit Country Manager to lead our Trade Credit operations in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for launching and managing our Trade Credit business in Mexico, developing strategies for the country, and leading a local underwriting team.

About the Role:

  • Launch and manage Trade Credit operations in Mexico
  • Develop and implement strategies for the country
  • Lead a local underwriting team
  • Work closely with other functions of the Trade Credit organization
  • Collaborate with other Lines of Business and functions at a country level
  • Set and deliver financial and budgetary goals for the country

Requirements:

  • Studies in economics, actuarial, accounting, and/or business administration
  • Several years of successful experience in banking and/or insurance, preferably in credit insurance, working capital/receivables finance
  • Proven experience in financial and balance sheet analysis
  • Strong development and leadership experience, as well as an excellent network in the trade credit industry
  • Experience in the development of conditions, concepts, and wordings
  • Experience and security in dealing with corporate customers and banks
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate at C-level, ability to express clearly and precisely
  • Willingness to make decisions, ability to work in a team, quick perception, and good self-organization
  • Personal initiative, commitment, accountability, resilience, flexibility
