Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Credit Country Manager to lead our operations in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for launching and managing our trade credit business in the country, developing strategies to drive growth, and leading a local underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch and manage trade credit operations in Mexico, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards and strategies.
  • Develop and implement business growth plans, maintaining profitability objectives and identifying new distribution partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including credit officers, to integrate and adapt local business plans.
  • Set and deliver financial and budgetary goals for the country, leading and supervising the underwriting team.
  • Provide technical advice to underwriters, credit analysts, brokers, and insureds on scope of coverage, wordings, and applications.
Requirements
  • Studies in economics, actuarial science, accounting, or business administration.
  • Several years of experience in banking and/or insurance, preferably in credit insurance, working capital/receivables finance.
  • Proven experience in financial and balance sheet analysis, with a strong development and leadership background.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and precisely.
  • Ability to work in a team, make decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
