As a Senior Account Manager, you will be accountable for driving profitable growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities for Tier 2 customers. You are the ultimate owner of the customer relationship, becoming the trusted advisor to the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive all sales activities to meet both short- and long-term objectives and shape strategic growth plans for accounts.
  • Own and manage up to four Tier 2 accounts, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Support and coach the account management team, fostering collaboration and alignment toward business goals.
  • Develop and implement a documented business plan aligned with both immediate and long-term objectives.
  • Regularly review and update Account Development Plans to ensure focus on growth opportunities and resource alignment.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify growth strategies by understanding customer needs and providing unique insights to reframe their business perspectives.
  • Develop a sales pipeline for future growth by collaborating with marketing and converting leads into sales opportunities.
  • Lead a virtual cross-functional team to ensure effective resource management, delegation, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance, address commercial and operational issues, and support cash collection activities to resolve payment issues.

About Your Skills

  • Sales Experience & Industry Expertise: Over 7 years of sales experience, preferably in the ATI or IT sectors, with a deep understanding of B2B IT and the aviation industry.
  • Client Relationship & Account Management: Proven ability to build strong relationships with Senior Executives, drive account development plans, and manage large, complex deals, including negotiations and closing.
  • Business Development & Revenue Growth: Successful track record in business development, pipeline management, achieving/exceeding sales targets, and driving revenue growth in high-turnover environments.
  • Sales Leadership & Commercial Acumen: Strong sales leadership, negotiation, and consultation skills, combined with deep financial and commercial knowledge, including familiarity with contract structures and the legal environment.
  • Strategic Market Understanding: In-depth knowledge of key industry metrics, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and the specific business realities within the relevant geography or sector.

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience dealing with government accounts is highly desirable.
  • Spanish advanced proficiency.
