Key Responsibilities:
- Implement bug fixes and coding enhancements to improve application stability.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve application issues.
- Identify defects and discrepancies to determine the root cause through debugging and log analysis.
- Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts, and issues for permanent fixes or automation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and work with the engineering team to implement solutions.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Core Java, J2EE.
- At least 3+ years of experience in RDBMS (Oracle/Sybase/DB2/SQL Server/PostgreSQL).
- At least 3+ years of experience in application support, production support/L3 support, maintenance, and analysis.
- At least 3+ years of experience in software development life cycle and ability to read and understand application logs.
- At least 3+ years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. Experience in Financial Services domain.
- Good exposure to Unix commands and Shell scripting skills.
Desired:
- Good experience with version control systems such as GIT, CI/CD Pipeline, Splunk, etc.
Languages:
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
Location:
- Hybrid schema for Mexico City and Monterrey location.
