Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and maximize business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to penetrate and grow market share from assigned accounts.
  • Retain, expand, and grow account revenue of existing accounts through total account penetration, margin management, and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify and aggressively solicit new accounts in coordination with relevant Sales and Marketing colleagues and Above Property Sales.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve account revenue and sales goals.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, industry organizations, and brand network to enable future bookings.
  • Understand market dynamics, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and sell to assigned accounts.
  • Identify emerging business opportunities and risks within assigned accounts and provide feedback to key stakeholders.
  • Promote accountability to drive superior business results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
