Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordination Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and administering project documentation for Vertiv projects. You will work closely with Program Managers to develop standard procedural documents for future projects and ensure accountabilities are clarified for each calendar item.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a project calendar, including regular scheduled meetings, report dates, and key events;
  • Ensure that accountabilities are clarified for each calendar item;
  • Support Program Managers as required on ad-hoc requests/issues requiring management;
  • Work on large complex projects with significant short- and long-term impacts to the business;
  • Participate in developing and implementing policy and procedures to drive ongoing improvement efforts;
  • Prepare, design, update, and communicate project reports, including sourcing up-to-date KPI information;
  • Take initiative with limited direction to execute requirements;
  • Establish effective communication routes with key project reps, executives, and customer representatives to identify information at variance to our plan;
  • Report such information to the Program Manager for resolution/escalation;
  • Support Program Managers in developing a data centre standard project life cycle and process for use on future projects;
  • Identify key project information/records/procedures and act as backup to Program Manager to run meetings and address/resolving project issues when the Program Manager is out of office;
  • Ensure that project records are uploaded to the project intranet and designated project management system to maintain good practice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business, engineering, or technical field (or equivalent experience);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, construction, or manufacturing;
  • Able to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with others;
  • Demonstrates ability to build relationships, persuade, assertive, diplomacy, tact, professionalism, customer relation skills, handle stressful situations, prioritize, and flexible to meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
