Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to identify, create, and qualify new business opportunities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that our product or service value propositions align with customer needs and provide on-demand consultative advice.

You will also be responsible for cultivating and developing trusted advisor status with key clients, positioning our value propositions to meet customer needs, and communicating key competitive advantages. Additionally, you will maintain opportunity momentum to expand growth, capitalize on early wins, and customer satisfaction to expand business within the account.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for revenue generation, continuously scanning for prospects to achieve new growth and expanding offerings within the account.
  • Identifies, creates, and qualifies opportunities by assessing clients, including balance sheet and business health, to determine feasibility of partnering.
  • Cultivates and develops trusted advisor status by ensuring product or service value propositions align with customer needs and providing on-demand consultative advice.
  • Positions value propositions to meet customer needs and end-user business priorities, communicates key competitive advantages, and works with others to ensure appropriate pricing.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong understanding of products/solutions within specific Business Units, the competitive landscape, and how to effectively position Panduit to close business. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, and 5-7 years of outside commercial capacity experience is required. Strong deal management ability, ability to penetrate various areas within an account, and multiple touch points throughout an organization are essential skills for this role.
