About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director to lead our sales team in Mexico. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the Mexican market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Create and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead Sales Team: Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and Prioritize Target Markets: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for business growth and prioritize target sub-markets and customer segments.
  • Set Sales Targets and Objectives: Establish sales targets and objectives aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Influence MICE Strategy: Collaborate with other departments to influence MICE strategy and drive revenue growth.
  • Recruit, Train, and Develop Sales Talent: Identify, recruit, train, and develop sales talent to ensure a high-performing sales team.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for business growth and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and B2B partners.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in all segments, including Direct B2C, MICE, FIT, Leisure groups & Romance.
  • Manage Sales Budget: Manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor and Report on Sales Performance: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Director in a similar senior leadership role.
  • Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Mexican market and business practices.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Teamwork Skills: Ability to work well in a team environment, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in performance tools, business platforms, and social media.
  • Time Management Skills: Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, proactive, self-motivated, and good organization.
  • Travel Requirements: Valid passport and ability to travel extensively required within Mexico and internationally.
