**Job Summary**

Brenntag is seeking a highly experienced Business Development and Strategy Director to drive project efforts and lead strategic initiatives at the regional level. As the go-to-person for all strategic and transformation topics, you will be responsible for driving changes in organizational structure and processes, ensuring progress of transformation, supporting strategy development and execution, creating transparency on achievements at regional level, and ensuring link into global BES BD.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Actively manage key projects, especially related to operating model changes, and ensure alignment with leaders and other stakeholders
- Steer the development and execution of regional strategies, including M&A strategies and the identification of new business opportunities
- Support systematic prioritization and development of strategy and transformation roadmap within region
- Implement new businesses, such as commercial sustainability, portfolio of initiatives, and roadmap within the region
- Steer regional post-merger integration (PMI)
- Act as a sparring partner to business on regional level
- Focus attention of regional leaders on what matters most and ensure deliverable and execution-focused strategy implementation and project management
- Assess key execution risks, flag issues proactively and pre-emptively in region, and communicate these to relevant stakeholders

**Requirements**

8+ years of relevant project leading expertise in a top-tier management/strategy consultancy and multinational work environment
- Several years of experience in large-scale organizational transformations, operating model and strategy development, and project management
- Master Degree in Business, experience in chemical distribution

**Skills**

- Strategy: strategic decision-making and business need prioritization
- Functional skills: analytical and problem-solving, communication and moderation skills
- Leadership: stakeholder management
- Area of expertise: project and program management, chemical industry/distribution market knowledge, market and competitor analysis
