As a valued member of our team at FedEx Lac, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of packages to our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Customer Service Specialist - Package Handling to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling packages efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment, and compliance with Customs documentation required at destination.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be able to lift 70 lbs (32 kgs) and maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs. (68 kgs) with appropriate equipment.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
