About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team at LHR Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Idea Generation: Develop and articulate new business ideas that align with our company's strategy, incorporating factors such as market trends, business impact, and risk mitigation.
  • Market Research: Conduct desktop market research to stay informed about current and emerging business trends, and engage with internal and external entities to gather insights.
  • Business Planning: Develop comprehensive business plans and financial models to support new business opportunities, and review financial models prepared by others.
  • Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams to develop business plans for new business opportunities, and mentor and coach junior staff members on skill development and the business origination process.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance the business origination process with best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or its equivalent, with an MBA or its equivalent.
  • Experience: 10 years of relevant experience with exposure to multiple industries, or 15 years of relevant experience without an MBA or professional certification.
  • Industry Knowledge: Broad industry experience, including but not limited to oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure.
  • Skills: Strong finance background, including experience in financial valuations and modeling, and a strong analytical ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights.
  • Communication: Excellent writing and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
Benefits
  • Monthly Base Salary: Aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly Overbase: 25% of monthly base salary.
  • Benefits Supplement: 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
  • Severance Package: 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, increasing to 4 weeks' pay after 6 years.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): Eligible after 12 months of service, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount.
  • Incentive Plan: Annual, based on performance, with an approximate value of 1.8x monthly base salary.
  • Travel Allowance: Annual, with an approximate value of $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  • Vacation & Paid Holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays.
  • Medical/Dental Plan: Complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care and facilities for employee and eligible family members, with subsidized in-Kingdom dental services.
  • Educational Assistance Plan (EAP): Out-of-Kingdom assistance with 90% of expenses, up to a maximum of 5x monthly base salary or the company max, plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets.
  • Settling in Allowance: One-time payment, with a value of 100% of monthly base salary for family status and 60% of monthly base salary for single/bachelor status.
