About the Role

The Sales Support Assistant will provide valuable administrative support to the Higher Education (HE) sales team, helping sales representatives sell courseware and academic texts. The role involves maintaining and updating customer relationship management systems, working with other departments to obtain product information, and attending in-house meetings. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, experienced, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update customer relationship management systems and other sales systems.
  • Support HE sales representatives in the field.
  • Work with other departments to obtain product information.
  • Attend in-house meetings and perform other duties as required.
  • Assist faculty with requests and troubleshooting.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Assistant with the following skills, knowledge, and qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish—written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Comfort working with databases and researching.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • An understanding of the customer.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
