The Portfolio Manager oversees a diverse portfolio of homeowner associations (HOAs), ensuring exceptional management and service delivery. This role involves managing daily operations, financial activities, and communications for various associations within the portfolio.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple homeowner associations, ensuring compliance with all association governing documents and state laws.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Board members, residents, and vendors.
- Coordinate and attend Board meetings, including preparation of meeting agendas, packets, and minutes.
- Implement Board decisions and follow up on action items.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure property maintenance standards are met.
- Manage and approve vendor contracts, supervise maintenance and repair activities, and ensure quality workmanship and completion on schedule.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets for each association, monitor financial performance, and provide financial reports to the Board.
- Address homeowner inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
- Facilitate communication between homeowners, board members, and relevant parties through newsletters, community updates, and other communication tools.
- Advise and assist Board members on the enforcement of community rules and regulations.
- Coordinate with legal counsel on issues involving association matters as needed.
- **Requirements**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HOA management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory environment of homeowner’s associations in California.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- CAM (Certified Association Manager) or similar certification preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused attitude with high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week following US time zone
