Business Development Representative (Outbound – Retail) LATAM

Overview:

Blue Yonder Inc is seeking a Business Development Representative for LATAM (Outbound – Retail) to join our Sales team.

Scope:

Initiates calls to potential and existing customers and provides information regarding products, promotions and seminars. Leverage skills to reach decision makers and effectively communicate Blue Yonder's value proposition. Use independent judgment to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns. Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for marketing Blue Yonder products in order to secure new accounts. Collect & analyze potential customers financial information, critical business processes and/or system needs in order to make recommendations to customers on appropriate product and services options. Participate in the first portion of the sales cycle by building relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts. Use independent judgment to create, analyze and execute pre-packaged multi-part marketing and lead-generation programs.

What you will do:

Actively manage group of assigned Retail target accounts to create new opportunities and pipeline for Blue Yonder software solutions. Develop provocative messaging to then confidently communicate with various senior executives, seeking to challenge them to taking action to improve results/ generate value. Collect & analyze potential customer’s financial information, critical business processes and/or system needs. Collect & analyze supply chain, retail and specific industry trends, challenges and investment areas. Leverage expertise and add significant credibility by working closely with Blue Yonder industry and solutions principles to develop opportunities. Build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts. Identify and qualify their project needs, budget, timelines, business issues and obstacles for hand off to the appropriate sales individual to win the business. Leverage skills to reach decision makers and market Blue Yonder product offerings via cold calling, LinkedIn, social media.

What we are looking for:

Minimum 3 years inside/outside sales w/ experience in enterprise software industry Personable, outgoing, helpful, able to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging manner. Proven track record of exceptional opportunity generation results. Experience working in a team sales environment. Knowledge of SFA/CRM/Contact Manager software required; experience with Salesforce.com a plus. Retail or Supply Chain experience. Superior oral and written communication skills. Minimal travel required.
