Along with protecting against destructive attacks and data exfiltration, it also helps businesses cut costs, simplify their infrastructure, and improve the user experience by getting rid of a lot of internal processes.**Role Description**We are looking for a Subject Matter expert of VMware products, who will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the VMware virtualization platform and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team of talented professionals with a lot of positive energy and enthusiasm.**This is a Part-Time, 100% remote contract role, with potential for a full-time role in the future.****Responsibilities**- Design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure- Install, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization products in a networked environment.- Create and administer virtual machines (VMs) and VM clusters.- To monitor the performance of VMs and VM clusters.- To optimize the performance of VMs and VM clusters.- Plan and execute VMware vSphere upgrades and migrations- Perform capacity planning for VMware vSphere infrastructure- Monitor performance of VMware vSphere infrastructure and troubleshoot issues- Create and maintain documentation for VMware vSphere infrastructure- Train other staff on using and administering VMware vSphere- Incident & service management; troubleshoot issues with VMs and VM clusters.- logging of requests, support calls and escalating where appropriate into the Service Management tool- Create, Maintain, Update, Deploy and Delete policies.**Qualifications**- A minimum of four years’ experience working with VMware vSphere in a production environment.- Experience configuring and managing VMware vCenter Server.- Experience with VMware ESXi server administration.- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).- Advanced diagnostic and advanced problem-solving skill- Have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills**Supplementary Data**All your information will be treated with utmost confidentiality in accordance with EEO standards.**What You Can Expect from Us**You will be working in an environment that exposes you to innovative technologies and architecture.
