Sales is at the heart of ADP. Sales drives our business. In this role, you will help clients using the latest digital technology to uncover the real needs of their business, recommend the right solutions, and build accounts through loyalty and trust. You will have the opportunity to lead a team towards achieving sales objectives through coordination and communication between ADP’s clients and prospects, internal support partners, and your team. You will recruit, hire, train and develop sales associates, providing performance feedback and coaching.
As a participant in the Sales Executive Accelerated Program, you will have access to specially curated sales training and leadership development. You will learn everything you need to know about ADP’s products and processes, as well as receive professional development and leadership training. You will have access to mentors who will serve as resources and guides to you throughout your tenure in the program and beyond.
You will provide expert guidance and use your entrepreneurial spirit to build your book of business. You will have an opportunity to reach your goals and make a name for yourself at ADP. What you'll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
Grow Our Business. Grow Professionally. Support a Growing Team. Initially, you will work independently and collaboratively as part of your team to close sales and win businesses. You will then transition to lead your team within your assigned geography to achieve sales goals through the effective use of planned resources.
Turn Prospects into Loyal Clients and Raving Fans. You will implement a sales strategy targeted at decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
Collaborate Daily. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to your clients, internal partners, and overall network.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
- Sales Role Model: You have a successful track record of business-to-business sales experience (2+ years).
- People Person and Coach: You're a relationship builder who can connect and motivate people.
- Trusted Advisor: You live and breathe integrity and deliver on promises.
- Expert Planner: You manage your time well, prioritize deliverables, and multitask effectively.
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:
- Two or more years of business-to-business sales or sales management experience, OR
- Military experience where skills such as teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust-building will help you succeed.
