About this opportunity

The sales training specialist will offer daily support to sales training department, and other relevant departments, and also lead face to face and virtual trainings. The sales training specialist must be able to multitask and be prepared to manage a wide variety of responsibilities that can change on a daily basis.

In this role, you will…

  • Be the sales training main point of contact for Mexico and CALA commercial/marketing teams
  • Lead sales trainings with the sales teams developing them on tools, skills and other identified gaps;
  • Be able to analyze sales gaps such as competencies and skills, and develop training initiatives to improve and develop the sales teams;
  • Work on the development of sales leaders on coaching, leadership skills, competencies, etc.;
  • Be able to co-travel with sales leaders in order to coach on the job and help on their development;
  • Support the sales training Manager on the organization and trainings for Sales Conventions;
  • Responsible for the development, organization and execution of training events;
  • Responsible for the development and management of open and distance trainings;
  • Go frequently to the field in order to see training/ initiatives implemented and other training needs to develop;
  • Responsible for updating training materials to support sales teams;
  • Lead, organize and execute relevant projects or trainings as required;
  • Be in contact with other relevant training peers, in order to share best practices and bring new tools/ideas to implement;
  • Keep traceability on commercial teams’ evolution and grades;
  • Maintain a basic knowledge in orthodontic/dental concepts and topics.
  • Other tasks assigned by the department specialist

In this role, you’ll need …

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Preferable bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Preferable experience in sales or equivalent
  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in training area

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • English: Advanced or fluent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

COMPUTER SKILL:

  • Digital native and tech Savvy
  • Familiarity with Windows environment.
  • Ability to learn software applications quickly.
  • Proficient Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Experience in LMS/LMX platforms management
