ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES


Work as a business partner for the US RGM Team, by providing data-based commercial insights to support pricing decisions, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the financial success and effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.


The role will help support the RAI Investment Strategy & Deployment team by leveraging big data and advanced analytics while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and maximize the return on investment. Develop performance tools and models to help identify opportunities and deliver recommended growth opportunities. Manage pricing and promotion optimization, leading to account level analysis, such as predictive analytics and post implementation results.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Support the development of a robust portfolio strategy and Customer / Consumer Pricing Strategies (price architecture) to reflect the organization's changing requirements and a dynamic competitive landscape.
  • Provide pricingrelated observations and perspective related to competitor activities, consumer trends and interactions between categories and across price segments.
  • Develop a deep understanding of pricing and promotion strategies, internal processes, and overall market landscape.
  • Development of strategies and initiatives to enable sustainable growth of net income.
  • Assist in delivering analysis and observations that will feed the pricing and excise forum monthly.
  • Support and implementation of Growth Management strategies and tactics for Tobacco and new categories.
  • Provide the gathering, preparation, validation and cleansing of different sources of information to generate key observations.
  • Consolidation of master data management and reporting routines.
  • Monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Leverage analytical tools by providing insights and recommendations towards the achievement of RGM financial plans and supporting execution initiatives.
  • Identifying best practices and standardizing where possible.
  • Willingness to learn in a fastpaced manner with data management tools.
  • Play an active role as a member of Digital Business Solutions team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills).

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or Engineering preferred.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience, at least 2+ years in data analytics, revenue management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning.
  • Knowledge and experience in extracting, validating, and reviewing performance data.
  • Time management skills with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to communicate technical information in a consolidated and straightforward way.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both virtually and physically in the office.
  • Be able to design independently and deliver E2E analytics solutions / outcomes per specification.
  • Experience with price related elasticities and profit & loss statements is desired.
