Product Manager, Partnerships

Adyen's Product Partnerships is part of the Payment Solutions team. The Product Partnerships team focuses on our relationships with key technology partners (e.g. Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft) and service partners to ensure robust and scalable joint integrations for customers. Product Partnerships works closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Commercial Partnerships and Product) to make a partner integration successful.

Conceptually, Adyen achieves mass distribution through these technology/service partners. The team's work primarily focuses on managing our top technology and service partners to:

  • Ensure that all technical aspects of the partner's integration with Adyen is as good as our customers expect and need. Knowledge about the ecosystem and vertical are needed to make the integration scalable.. The integration needs to be robust, secure and future-proof.
  • Secure the partner's excitement and interest in our product roadmap, to offer our newest features in a timely manner.
  • Streamline the partner's onboarding, to enable rapid access to Adyen Payments when a merchant has signed an agreement to use Adyen.
  • Explore new unique co-development opportunities to give a competitive edge to the partner's integration with Adyen and discover new solutions to address common merchant issues.

The Product Partnerships team is a global team. We are now looking for a candidate based in São Paulo or Mexico City to work with our LATAM and North American Partnerships team (~50/50 time split).

What you will do

  • Be responsible for the discovery, building, and delivery of key features of a set of partner integrations working closely with the partners' Product and Engineering teams
  • Own end-to-end responsibility for a specific set of partner integrations (incl. setting the strategy)
  • Have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with Adyen's product offering
  • Lead a sustainable, scalable and secure solution design for any new implementations with your partners
  • Apply technical knowledge of technology, system architecture, frameworks, infrastructure and Adyen's product integrations
  • Gather and prioritize customer insights for product enhancements, track product feedback and plan releases
  • Lead regular product meetings with partners to work on new feature builds, enhancements, optimizations, feedback, and operational issues
  • Leverage data to gather insights to make educated, practical, and strategic decisions
  • Work in tandem with Adyen's commercial partner team members to be the partner's go-to payment expert and authority
  • Influence Adyen's product teams priorities and strategy based on your partner feedback and insights
  • Lead knowledge sharing and training of partnerships to the rest of the Adyen organization – Sales, Account Management, Implementation Management, Support, etc
  • Align internally to distribute new features and functionality to the partner ecosystem at scale
  • Work cross-functionally with partner's internal stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with Adyen's internal stakeholders
  • Identify, share, and implement best practices for partner engagement

Who you are

  • You have scoped, built and launched successful products at scale in the enterprise space
  • You have experience in the world of ecommerce, payments, fintech, or system architecture
  • You have experience with partnerships / relationship management
  • You have technical experience with system architecture, frameworks, infrastructure and Adyen's product integrations and experience with leading a solution design from end-to-end
  • You have excellent organizational and communication skills and know how to manage a project from conception to maturity
  • You can successfully operate in a global organization working with teams across different offices and timezones
  • You are a quick learner and take a 'launch fast and iterate' approach to tackling problems
  • You love to act as a mentor and help guide talent to make optimal decisions
  • You take pride in putting your team first, you value teams over ego
