Position Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager, a pivotal role focused on nurturing client relationships and expanding business opportunities within a designated portfolio of accounts. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with our dealer partners to devise and execute effective strategies for account growth and opportunity identification. Serve as the primary liaison for Steelcase within assigned accounts, gaining a deep understanding of client business challenges and aspirations. Foster relationships across various functions including real estate, facilities, procurement, IT, and HR to uncover new selling opportunities. Build and sustain a robust network of influencers in architecture, design, and real estate, particularly concerning the defined accounts. Continuously enhance knowledge of Steelcase's advantages, including product features, services, research, and insights. Lead impactful engagements to drive business growth, such as showroom tours, mockup presentations, and annual business reviews. Partner with dealer associates, product marketing, and Steelcase Pricing and Contracts teams to create competitive product and pricing strategies. Work with the Steelcase Pricing and Contracts team and dealer partners to effectively communicate the value of Steelcase purchasing agreements to both new and existing clients. Mobilize and lead the appropriate Steelcase and dealer partner teams according to client and project requirements to differentiate Steelcase and secure business. Collaborate regionally with colleagues and dealer partners on business strategies, marketing initiatives, and special projects to enhance the Steelcase brand and business growth. Required Qualifications A degree in Business, Real Estate, or Design, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in English is essential. A minimum of 3 years of experience in furniture sales is required. Familiarity with the contract furniture sector is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational and planning skills. A curious mindset to understand client challenges. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications High-energy individual with a demonstrated focus on execution and results. A collaborative team player with leadership and influencing capabilities. Comprehensive knowledge of the furniture industry and Steelcase's business philosophy is advantageous.
