**Position Description**:

- Responsible for building, planning and training Elanco’s and Partners Sales Forces with training plans and development strategies, focusing on the short, medium and long terms ensuring that the Sales Forces are prepared to meet the needs of the customers business, maximizing productivity and results for Elanco
- Main contact point and expert in Elanco Sales techniques to internal and external customers
- Partners with sales managers to assess training needs and develop programs focused on effective sales techniques and that will enable the sales team from Elanco and clients to maximize sales performance, measuring impacts and stablishing KPI´s.
- Monitors and analyzes sales team performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training and design follow up or ongoing programs as needed.
- Has strong knowledge and understanding of the Elanco's products, services, customers, competitors, and sales techniques.
- Realize training with excellence and uses effective training techniques to raise individual team performance
- Prepares, trains and empowers the leaders and sales force of clients and distributors partners to motivate the high performance in sales
- Contribute to the increase in the level of engagement of Elanco and partners teams
- Lead a Sales Training Analyst that support creation and delivery of sales training programs that support an effective and motivated sales force
- Identify KPI´s to succeed in training and execution

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Ensure differentiation from Elanco sales force, reinforce and improve knowledge and tech skills vs competition
- Build and manage the training plans aligned with the BU strategy and the brands, in addition to ensuring their execution.
- Develop KPI´s to guarantee training success across organization.
- Ensure alignment with internal customers to identify training and sales force development needs.
- Be a strategic partner for the marketing and sales teams, making it critical to the optimal execution of branding strategies.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the communication between the marketing and sales areas regarding the correct positioning of products and promotion, creating mechanisms to train these strategies;
- Provide directing feedback and focused on the development of Sales Force during field training and follow-ups, always aligned with the territorial manager.
- Ensure the quality of Sales Force training, by consistently building and managing the training indicators;
- Seek out new training methodologies for the sales force.
- Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations from the partners Elanco
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods
- Manage training budget
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
- Prepare a team of coaches standardized with adult learning techniques for the sales team and partners to always receive effective trainings
- Make the CVS methodology the interaction model with our clients and through it identify the needs of the clients and business opportunities
- From the identification of customer needs, support the construction of Value Propositions, monitor their execution and capture value.
- Plan, create, add trainer partners and prepare for the implementation of the FOCA to be a great differential for the Elanco partners

**Experience / Knowledge**:

- Proven work experience as a training
- Proven work experience on sales
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
