Customer Retention Specialist

We are a multinational company with presence in several countries, including Mexico, Ghana, the Philippines, and the United States. Our Mexican offices are located in strategic areas, ensuring efficient operations.
Our Customer Retention Specialist role focuses on reviewing and processing financial documents, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.
Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $16,000 to $23,000 MXN per month, depending on skills and experience. Additionally, benefits include food vouchers, a savings fund, HMO (health insurance), 14 days of paid vacation, and a 30-day Christmas bonus ('aguinaldo'). A referral program is also available. Parking and payment every Friday are additional perks.
Requirements:
- Intermediate English proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent; college courses or a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field are preferred.
- A minimum of five years of back-office mortgage servicing and loss mitigation home retention/liquidation experience is required.
- Strong working knowledge of conventional and government mortgage loan documents, including processes, inter-relationships, standards, requirements, terminology, compliance, and regulatory needs related to federal debt collection laws, Federal Bankruptcy Laws, and proper handling of other legal situations is necessary.
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, CFPB, FCRA, and FDCPA is preferred.
- The ability to work in a demanding role that requires patience and professionalism while interacting with consumers experiencing financial and emotional stress is crucial.
- Advanced math skills are essential.
- Proficiency with basic internet searches, data entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
- Familiarity with document retention software, such as Blitzdoc, is preferred.
