FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, while driving sales growth and optimizing branch profitability.

**Job Summary:**

The Customer Service Sales Specialist will be the face of FedEx Express in our front-line operation. This role involves completing administrative tasks and coordinating activities related to data entry, ramp operations, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and local customer service.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Advise and offer our products and services to customers to achieve sales objectives;
  • Develop frequent customers and Credit;
  • Perform various over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties requiring direct and indirect customer interface;
  • Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions regarding FEC products and services, and providing over-the-counter service and over-the-phone service;
  • Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, including weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, special requirements for hazardous material shipment, and compliance with Customs documentation required at destination;
  • Collaborate with the fulfillment of the budget, income/expenses, and support the optimization of branch profitability with resource optimization;
  • Responsible for opening and closing the branch, keeping the work area clean, checking furniture and work supplies, respecting customer service times;
  • Recognize new customers or additional business opportunities and offer suitable services and solutions, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments, and submit sales leads;
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience by developing and providing adequate solutions to different types of customer problems;
  • Follow commercial and administrative processes, communicating with involved areas; Responsible for safeguarding company values and avoiding deviations, missing, and mishandling in the WSC;
  • Request necessary supplies to carry out daily documentation and packaging of shipments;

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree/Equivalent;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer service focused on sales;
  • Knowledge in cash management and other values;
  • Previous experience in a FedEx SCS Warehouse with good knowledge of operation and key customer requirements;
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs/34 kg and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs/68 kg with appropriate equipment;
  • Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Planning and organizing skills;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to determine and coordinate sequences of tasks for self and others;
  • Good interpretation skills with experience translating customer-specific instructions into actual requirements;
  • Good technology skills, e.g., scanner/printer/intranet, with ability to perform basic maintenance tasks;
  • Good general office skills, including typing, filing, and computer literacy;
  • Good communication and human relations skills;
  • Clean and articulate speaking voice;
  • Clean-cut and neat appearance;

**Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
