Job Summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineering Manager to lead our Reliability Team and drive asset reliability excellence across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize maintenance operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks, and implement corrective actions
  • Design and implement predictive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs
  • Lead the development of reliability standards and processes to ensure consistency and best practices across the organization
  • Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to analyze asset utilization and remaining useful life of assets
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure maintenance, production, and quality personnel have the necessary skills to maintain and operate equipment reliably
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineer/maintenance related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of predictive maintenance tools, such as oil analysis, vibration analysis, and infrared thermography
  • Ability to read and understand data analysis tools for root cause analysis and loss elimination
  • Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP Plant Maintenance preferred)
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working Environment

The Reliability Engineering Manager will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and may be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, fumes, and hazards such as electrical shock or gases.
