Network Operations Center Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Center Analyst to join our team at MX19 Alcon Laboratorios S.A. De C.V. Company. As a key member of our IT Core Connectivity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center, LAN, WAN, Voice & Video, and Public Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with various teams to maintain service quality, security, and compliance.
- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless networks, and Data Center connectivity.
- Work on Voice/Video issues and basic knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and its troubleshooting.
- Install and configure network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing following the Alcon Security and compliance environment.
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network systems with other infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, and applications.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to the network infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or IT.
- 1-2 years of experience in monitoring, and troubleshooting network devices including WLAN, LAN switching, Routers, SDWAN devices, Voice /Video, Cloud Operation.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Ability to work at the Mexico City Alcon Network Operations Center.
- Service Now experience handling tickets.
- Demonstrated experience working in ITIL environments.
- Good understanding of network devices, routing protocols, LAN/WAN environments and transports, network hardware and distribution facilities.
- Experience with monitor process ISP, maintenance tasks and do basic troubleshooting network devices, including WLAN, LAN switching, Routers, SDWAN devices, Voice /Video, and Cloud Operation.
- Advanced level of English.
