Your Role
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team at Molex, a leading manufacturer of interconnect solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in your assigned territory, focusing on the hybrid market that includes Home Appliance, Automotive, and Industrial sectors in Mexico.
About the Job
You will be responsible for creating value with customers, working to establish long-term relationships, and growing sales revenue in your territory. To achieve this, you will need to strategize product sales based on decision makers, create value for customers and the company, and apply opportunity cost to each business decision.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategize product selling based on decision makers
- Create value for customers and for the company
- Apply opportunity cost on each business decision
- Travel to see customers who are not local
- Create relationships with our internal Molex customers
- Find new business opportunities
- Map a territory, run revenue reports, and analyze data
- Solve customers' issues
- Follow up current and future projects
- Negotiate to close projects
- Create marketing initiatives to reinforce current relationships
Requirements
- Preferably a person who knows about the Home Appliance market
- Preferably a Mechatronics, Electronic, or Industrial Engineer
- Knows about Tier 1, Tier 2 business
- Needs someone who can easily learn our products, architecture, and self-actualize
- Proactive to seek customers and visit them constantly (at least once a week)
- Has an idea of strategy, report interpretation
- Emphatic with customers
- Multitasking, being able to cover multiple follow-up projects
- Stress management
- Customer relationship based on long-term
- Extreme communication skills while presenting or internal communication
- Open to hybrid markets
- Business English
