We invite you to be part of the Lubricants Sales Department of ExxonMobil affiliate in Mexico, which has been present in the country for over 135 years with a workforce of 268 employees. Our offices are located in Ciudad de México.
Your Role in Our TeamYou will play a crucial role in selling ExxonMobil products/services in an assigned territory portfolio and managing overall sales of that portfolio. This includes learning and applying ExxonMobil sales processes, brands, products, and techniques used to offer solutions to industrial customers, driving profitable growth when sold directly or in conjunction with designated ExxonMobil Distributors.
You will also develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of sales planning and the ExxonMobil annual business planning processes, emphasizing profitable growth. Additionally, you will build a personal understanding of market conditions, competitor activity, and emerging trends, execute defined Marketing and Technical services programs, and interface with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical, and Operations teams.
Key responsibilities include implementing local sales plans to meet annual Planning & Budget and marketing plan objectives, remaining fully abreast of market conditions, trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities, and consistently executing sales processes such as sales pipeline management, including regular analysis and follow-up.
Other key duties include managing credit and pricing consistent with defined offer standards, meeting opex objectives for area of responsibility, supporting Channel Partners (e.g., ExxonMobil Distributor) by providing sales pipeline coaching, account planning/management, and sell-out support to their staff, and using internal expertise efficiently to deliver customer-valued solutions.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need skills and qualifications such as collaboration, effective communication, and focus on business value. A Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar background is preferred, and recent graduates with no previous experience are encouraged to apply.
Analytical, negotiating, and opportunity management abilities are desirable, as well as the ability to drive a stick-shift vehicle (manual transmission).
