This role involves overseeing all activities surrounding the IT Service Desk, including receiving calls in the call center, monitoring incoming tickets for the Global Service Desk, resolving issues remotely according to established guidelines, and collaborating with 2nd level support when necessary.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To handle all calls coming to the call center, providing top-notch service to customers and escalating issues when required.
- Monitor incoming tickets for the Global Service Desk, utilizing efficient ticket handling skills to address customer concerns promptly.
- Responsible for resolving technical issues remotely within established parameters, consulting additional resources as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (IT or industrial) or equivalent experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- At least two years of experience in a service/customer service desk position.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in M365 office applications, Microsoft Windows, internet browsers, PCs, laptops, basic networking, and active directory.
- Basic understanding of IT principles and ticket handling.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably BMC.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Customer-focused and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends.
- High levels of responsibility and organization.
- Logical thinking.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with new concepts, technologies, and processes.
- Hybrid work arrangement: one week in the office and one week remote.
- Nominal salary plus performance-based bonuses.
