Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Sales Engineer to join our team in Mexico. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our world-class team to promote and support Amf Bakery Systems in various applications across South America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the features and benefits of our equipment and how to better meet customer needs.
  • Develop, update, and improve marketing materials tailored to the LATAM region's needs.
  • Assist the Sales Manager in submitting complete and accurate sales orders for internal processing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the bakery industry in the region and continuously assist the Sales Manager in scouting the market to develop new business opportunities.
  • Maintain ongoing business development activities, including keeping sales databases updated, generating and following up on proposals, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Establish relationships with all members of Amf or any other company within the same group to develop profitable equipment orders.
  • Assist with the execution of the strategy developed by management to expand our digital presence, including sharing institutional posts, finding new leads, and reinforcing our brand in the region.

Requirements

  • No previous sales experience is necessary, but a positive approach and eagerness to learn are essential.
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to work effectively across cultures.
  • Initiative-taking and proactive approach to customer relationships.
  • The ability to learn the technical application of equipment and match it to the needs of the customer.
  • Experience with calculations.
  • English and Spanish writing and speaking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and complete projects on time, demonstrate drive and initiative, and maintain confidentiality of information.
