Business Development Manager for Institutional Sales in Mexico

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Institutional Sales team in Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive growth and revenue expansion in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, product management, or relevant areas with business development experience. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to penetrate new markets, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive incremental wallet acquisition.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across cash, cards, and trade products
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, sector heads, and other key stakeholders
  • Providing market insights and competitive intelligence to inform product development and strategic decisions
  • Driving deal ramp and ongoing relationship with clients to continue prospecting for additional opportunities

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with senior-level executives. They will also possess a strong track record of delivering results and meeting individual financial goals.

This role requires a minimum of 5+ years' experience in sales, product management, or relevant areas with business development experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of at least one product group across cash, cards, and trade, as well as awareness of recent digitization trends.
