Senior Business Development Manager for ELT Sales

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead our English Language Teaching (ELT) sales efforts across the country. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have at least three years of sales experience in educational publishing or EdTech services, as well as a deep understanding of the use of technology in an educational instructional environment. You will be responsible for:
- Identifying business opportunities on potential ELT customers and following up with relevant professional development services.
- Offering professional development services for ELT teams and professional teaching training to ELT adopters.
- Initiating strategies to grow revenue through new/existing business development.
You will also be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of McGraw-Hill products, platforms, and capabilities, as well as possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must have:
- A college degree in Administration or a related field.
- At least three years of sales experience in educational publishing or EdTech services.
- English language proficiency (advanced level).
- Experience with CRM databases.
- Microsoft software skills: Outlook and PowerPoint (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate).
This is an outside sales role that requires frequent travel to customer sites and warehouse facilities. You may need to drive for extended periods with frequent stops and starts, and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
