Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Employment Relations Specialist to join our team at S&P Global, Inc.

About the Role

This role will involve developing and maintaining trust between the organization and its employees. You will be responsible for mediating and resolving employee disputes, implementing HR policies and procedures, and fostering strong communication between management and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. MEDICATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Resolve employee conflicts in a fair and timely manner, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
  2. POLICY IMPLEMENTATION: Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  3. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT: Promote a culture of open communication by facilitating employee feedback sessions and engagement initiatives.
  4. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT: Conduct training sessions on conflict resolution, communication skills, and performance management for staff and management.
  5. INVESTIGATION MANAGEMENT: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
