About the Role

Cargobase is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Mexico-based sales team. As a leading logistics SaaS company, we serve Fortune 500 and 1000 companies across various industries, including automotive, semiconductors, electronics, and oil & gas.

You will be responsible for lead generation and prospecting across multiple industries in the Mexico market. You will work closely with our global sales team to develop effective outbound strategies and support client engagement until contract closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Cargobase value proposition for suppliers and customers.
  • Conduct industry-specific research and collaborate with the sales team to develop an effective prospecting strategy.
  • Conduct high-volume prospecting to generate qualified leads.
  • Conduct pre-qualification of inbound prospects via email, phone, or live chat.
  • Set up appointments for high-quality leads with the appropriate sales team member.
  • Leverage tools such as Hubspot to track and optimize our performance and conversion rates, reporting the same to the sales team and management.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in Sales and/or Prospecting.
  • Strong familiarity with CRM and Sales & Marketing tools such as Hubspot.
  • Strong familiarity with LinkedIn as a leads database.
  • Track record of achieving targets in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be tech-savvy.
  • Great team skills.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial can-do environment.
