About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Director to join our team at Redwood Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Redwood's full suite of logistics services, including freight management, distribution, and project management.
  • Leverage our innovative technology and platform services to current and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve escalated customer service issues.
  • Build a qualified pipeline focused on goal-oriented sales and new logo growth.
  • Develop and present customer-facing presentations across all Redwood service lines.
  • Effectively manage transportation RFPs throughout the entire sales cycle.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated sales experience in the logistics industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic selling into multiple transportation service offerings.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience delivering or managing supply chain solutions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analysis, and networking skills.
  • Significant industry/shipper contacts.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to business needs and/or industry changes.
  • Strategic thinker.
