About the Location:
Experience the breathtaking southern coast of Mexico's Baja peninsula, where Cabo's Golden Corridor offers a blend of Mexican elegance and a Mediterranean ambiance. Create unforgettable memories as you immerse yourself in the rhythm of Mexican music, art, and culture, embraced by the warmth of our Four Seasons family.Join the pre-opening team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Cayao Restaurant Manager. This luxurious oceanfront resort will feature 96 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and 61 residences, along with three restaurants, five bars, three pools, an open-air fitness center designed by a celebrity trainer, a spa with ten treatment rooms, and a relaxation oasis. The Clubhouse, perched above the resort, will be the premier venue for hosting spectacular weddings and events for up to 250 guests, featuring an event lawn for ceremonies, an indoor/outdoor ballroom, and a bridal suite.

As the Cayao Restaurant Manager, you will cultivate the next generation of product and service-oriented restaurant leaders, taking ownership of the business to drive product quality, revenue, and profitability while establishing strategic and financial objectives. You will be accountable for achieving and surpassing GOR/GOP targets, developing and executing key marketing, public relations, and social media initiatives, and managing client and media relations. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring guest satisfaction, engaging with the local food and beverage community, controlling operating costs, and leading and developing your team.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- A college degree, preferably in hotel or restaurant management, or equivalent experience.
- Two to three years of prior experience in a management role within the food and beverage sector.
- A solid understanding of operational functions as well as Four Seasons' cultural and core standards, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in food and beverage service, cost control, labor management, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
- Competence in operating computer systems and other food and beverage technology.
- Excellent proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Spanish.
- Proven interpersonal skills with a history of successful client interactions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Essential Functions:
You will oversee a unique Nikkei concept restaurant that fuses the flavors of Peru and Japan. Your role will involve selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, coaching, and disciplining all restaurant staff to ensure adherence to established cultural and core standards. You will be expected to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and address any guest concerns or special requests. You will ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, while also possessing expert knowledge of wine and spirits to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs will be essential in designing an effective menu and wine list, ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price, and attending regular operational meetings to foster effective interdepartmental coordination. You will control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory management. Regular observation of the physical condition of facilities and equipment will be necessary, along with making recommendations for improvements. Compliance with Four Seasons' work rules and standards of conduct is required, and you will be expected to work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the role may require morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
