About the Role

At Alstom, we are seeking a highly skilled Total Reward Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting the business by providing expert analysis and reporting on compensation and benefits matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • Contribute to the development of salary bands and salary budgets
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices in compensation and benefits
  • Advise HR teams on job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications methodology and review job evaluations
  • Provide counsel and guidance to HR staff on total reward-related questions and issues
  • Support the HR team in developing ad hoc total reward analyses
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Total Employee Costs Analytics
  • Administer total reward programs, including market pricing, maintenance of compensation-related structures, salary bands, benefits administration
  • Prepare effective training materials to ensure appropriation of total reward principles by the HR teams, the hierarchical managers and the employees
  • Prepare effective communication on the various total reward programs
  • Participate actively in initiatives and projects to improve total reward management
  • Administer compensation and benefits tools and databases to ensure high level of data quality and accuracy
Performance Measurements
  • On time delivery of various reward activities: job evaluation and grading reviews, short term incentive calculation and salary review, Long term incentive and employee shareholding programs, Benefit administration
  • High level of data quality related to Compensation and Benefits information
  • Feedback from various stakeholders on quality of service (HR Business Partners, Managers, Employees)
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, statistics, or related area or the equivalent in related work experience
  • Certificate in Compensation & Benefit Management (desirable)
  • 3 to 5 years prior experience in HR practices
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Exposure to an international environment
  • Knowledge of benefit programs/laws/regulations, and ability to assess financial implications of rewards programs
