Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Executive to join our team in Rome-Fiumicino. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated territory, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated territory, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Analyze the territory and understand the competitive market landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, regional and European resources to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement value-added solutions to meet the logistics needs of clients, including analysis and cost-benefit calculations.
  • Support internal departments by introducing new clients, transferring information, and ensuring the security of all necessary bureaucratic practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance sales skills and stay up-to-date on products and services offered by Expeditors.
  • Contribute to the commercial activities of the branch, working under the direction of the District Commercial Manager.
  • Provide customer care services, including payment management (accounts receivable).
  • Support and adhere to the Expeditors company culture.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial and international logistics, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Desirable: knowledge of the supply chain process.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
