International Trade Manager

We are seeking an experienced International Trade Manager to join our team at Maersk. As a key member of our cross-border team, you will be responsible for developing and executing international transport operation schemes, aligned to the standards and profitability established by the service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute international transport operation schemes (models), according to requests and quotes from the commercial area.
  • Develop operation plans and operational monitoring with clients through a supported team of operational analysts in monitoring 24/7.
  • Develop improvement initiatives in current operations and according to volumetric opportunities by the client.
  • Lead the team, helping and guiding them in the best solution to problems.
  • Serve as front and contain the team.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or international Trade required.
  • 4 years of experience in operation, according to cross-border (Mexico-USA-Canada) market. 1 year with people in charge.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships and partnership, inspire followership, lead and manage laterally and through others.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - externally oriented and inquisitive, proactive, resourceful.
  • Proven Experience building effective cross-border businesses or relationships.
  • Experience and know-how of ERP, TMS, CRM systems.
