About the Role


CPKC is seeking a seasoned sales professional to spearhead our Intermodal customer relationships, fostering demand for our products and services globally. As an Account Manager - Intermodal Sales Specialist, you will build and maintain long-term client connections, driving revenue growth across the organization.


Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain open communication channels with KCS departments to ensure alignment of marketing and sales plans.
  • Develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs, solidifying your role as the primary point of contact.
  • Establish strategic market approaches, creating account plans and securing key business development opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate terms of sale, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver reliable product offerings.
  • Analyze revenue contributions, forecasting market outlook, and optimizing market share.
  • Evaluate results, applying follow-up strategies based on daily, weekly, and monthly reports from Marketing.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Railway knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of company products and services, key market segments, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
