We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our AWS Support Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to our operations engineers, working closely with senior stakeholders to improve operational practices, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Execute Business Priorities: Develop strategic goals for the team, plan and document key projects and initiatives, and track progress against goals to ensure the team remains focused and unblocked.
- Team and Performance Development: Manage team performance, mentor team members, and maintain a well-rounded, world-class organization.
- Operational Excellence: Uphold and drive operational excellence across the organization, identifying and owning local and global initiatives to optimize operational teams and drive customer-focused outcomes.
- Recruiting and Hiring: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process to build a high-performing team.
- Customer Advocacy: Be the voice of the customer, working with internal AWS resources to ensure customer SLAs are met, and raise awareness of customer-impacting issues to drive prioritization for fixes and responses.
