Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Mexico. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading key accounts, developing strategic plans, and maximizing sales opportunities to achieve Givaudan's sales team goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized attention to assigned customers by detecting specific needs and creating solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop an understanding of assigned clients' potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as competition.
- Ensure Givaudan is well-positioned to participate in target projects for clients with Core Lists.
- Maintain an efficient level of service, listening, analyzing, and projecting potential business based on customer needs.
- Manage profitability by product/client, ensuring the achievement of Givaudan's profitability policies.
- Coordinate and communicate with areas related to pre and post-sales service, including project management, forecasts, deliveries, collections, presentations, etc.
- Integrate visits to main customer departments, ensuring interdepartmental communication with assigned customers.
- Proactively detect and generate a broad base of new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Champion current business with main customers in strategic markets.
- Define business plans and growth strategies for assigned accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar role within the Food, Beverages, Chemicals, and Nutraceuticals industries.
- Advanced levels of English, both written and spoken.
