Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Group Sales to join our team at Ennismore. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all group sales activities to maximize revenue for our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase direct revenue for the property
  • Collaborate with the DOS and Commercial Director to develop rates, group ceilings, and deployment strategies
  • Recruit, direct, manage, train, and counsel group sales staff
  • Oversee departmental matters related to federal, state, and local employment and civil rights laws
  • Participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings
  • Represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events
  • Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the resort
  • Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOPs
  • Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of sales leadership experience in similar sized operation required, preferably in an upscale and/or lifestyle brand hotel or luxury resort
  • All-inclusive experience strongly preferred
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, catering sales, conference service, and marketing management experience, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
