Demand and Order Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand and Order Analyst to join our team at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. As a key member of our Supply Chain and Logistics department, you will play a critical role in supporting customer inquiries and ensuring seamless order management.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and control new sales orders, identifying key elements and communicating downstream for required actions.
- Audit order change requests from customers, evaluating acceptance from a material, production plan, technical, and logistics perspective.
- Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries, providing feedback on lead time, planned timeline, order change, order reschedules, etc.
- Align customer orders with Sales production plans to achieve monthly goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage sales and customer priorities.
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from various stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
- Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short-term), tactical (1-2 years), and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Cross-Team Integration: Understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem-solving appropriately to diverse situations.
