Job Summary: As a Senior Sales Business Development Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a key role in driving business expansion in South America. Your primary responsibility will be to build a pipeline of sales opportunities to support reaching AOP for the South Region, which includes Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia. You will work closely with local sales colleagues to ensure all possible actions are taken to secure business and build positive relationships with customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for sales forecasting, setting up and undertaking sophisticated sales, anticipating pipeline changes, and having plans in place to address shortfalls. Key competencies for this role include results-driven focus, customer experience, strong business acuity, teamwork, ability to understand and apply market knowledge into sales strategy, and ability to influence sales teams and distributors to promote product lines. Minimum requirements include a biological graduation, preferably with a Master's and/or PhD in the same area, English fluency, and commercial experience. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of Thermo Fisher Scientific in South America.
