Customer Service Representative

FedEx is a world-renowned logistics company, and we're looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team.
Job Summary:This role involves performing a variety of customer service, administrative, and clerical duties in a fast-paced environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of FedEx, providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring timely and accurate processing of packages.
Responsibilities:- Assist customers with package inquiries, resolve issues, and provide over-the-counter service and phone support
- Type or prepare various operations reports
- Handle customer packages, maintain records, and audit files as assigned
- Check packages for proper labeling, weight, size, wrapping, insurance values, and special requirements
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Station Ops Manager
- Interface with customers on customs-related issues and maintain a neat and clean appearance of the workplace
- Recognize new customers or additional business opportunities, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments, and submit sales leads
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Spoken and written fluency in English required; basic Spanish skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver packages up to 150 pounds with equipment
- Variable shift work required
$42,000 - $52,000 per year (dependent on experience)
