Job Description

Zendesk, a world-class customer service software company, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Marketing Operations Data Specialist to join our Global Marketing Operations team.

The Marketing Operations team is responsible for managing our marketing technology stack. Maintaining high-quality data is critical to the success of our programs and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform data cleansing tasks to ensure data cleanliness and accuracy.
  2. Develop and implement data augmentation, transformation, and normalization programs to improve data quality.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine data requirements and deliver integrated solutions to address cross-functional data challenges.
  4. Monitor and analyze data quality performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Implement data quality enhancements to ensure flawless execution of global marketing campaigns.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in marketing operations and data management, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and feel comfortable taking ownership and responsibility.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Education and experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field, such as a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (preferably Marketo and Salesforce).
  3. Advanced proficiency with Excel, advanced marketing and reporting tools, and data sets.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience in data management techniques, data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
  2. Experience with data orchestration tools, such as Openprise, is a plus.
  3. Ability to write SQL, or interest in learning.
