About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Business Development Manager** to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as a **Category Manager**. As a **Vendor Partnership Specialist**, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability through strategic partnerships with our vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Ownership: Act as the business owner for assigned categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality, and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
- Profit Maximization: Maximize Amazon's business profitability and selection expansion opportunities.
- Customer Advocacy: Have a complete understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiation of marketing funds.
- Business Planning: Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets in a collaborative environment.
