Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess and execute business development strategies.
  • Develop and implement a business development and licensing process aligned with local market requirements.
  • Prepare robust business cases to secure local and above-market approvals from key stakeholders.
  • Ensure seamless transitions of signed deals through effective communication and alliance management.
  • Lead the strategic expansion of the product portfolio through regional workshops and periodic reviews.
  • Assess new project opportunities from regional teams and provide strategic recommendations to the local market.

Requirements:

  • Consolidated experience in business development management or related roles.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of executing deals for in-license projects in Mexico and other LATAM regions.
  • Strong finance, commercial, and business intelligence knowledge.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Cross-functional capabilities.
