About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Implementation Specialist to join our team at OpenTable. As a key member of our Onboarding team, you will be responsible for the successful onboarding of our restaurant partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and coordinate the onboarding process for new restaurant partners
  • Deliver training to key staff on our Core, Pro, Basic, and additional products
  • Work closely with internal partners to develop and refine the Onboarding program
  • Effectively handle a queue of restaurants to reduce time-to-onboarding
  • Communicate status of tasks and the backlog to peers and a broader community
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Billing teams to eliminate customer difficulties

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a support, implementation, or hospitality role
  • Experience training non-technical customers on the use of software
  • Understanding of restaurant operations is a must, with direct restaurant experience a plus
  • Ability to make ethical decisions based on key facts in potentially ambiguous situations
  • Proven track record of driving projects through to completion
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with minimal supervision
  • Good phone and tele-presence skills for effective training and implementation
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills
  • English speaking, reading, and writing skills required
