About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Implementation Specialist to join our team at OpenTable. As a key member of our Onboarding team, you will be responsible for the successful onboarding of our restaurant partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and coordinate the onboarding process for new restaurant partners
- Deliver training to key staff on our Core, Pro, Basic, and additional products
- Work closely with internal partners to develop and refine the Onboarding program
- Effectively handle a queue of restaurants to reduce time-to-onboarding
- Communicate status of tasks and the backlog to peers and a broader community
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Billing teams to eliminate customer difficulties
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a support, implementation, or hospitality role
- Experience training non-technical customers on the use of software
- Understanding of restaurant operations is a must, with direct restaurant experience a plus
- Ability to make ethical decisions based on key facts in potentially ambiguous situations
- Proven track record of driving projects through to completion
- Ambitious and self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Good phone and tele-presence skills for effective training and implementation
- College degree preferred
- Excellent organization, documentation, and time management skills
- English speaking, reading, and writing skills required
