SGI Global, LLC is a leading provider of professional services to the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). We are seeking a highly skilled Prosecutions Program Advisor to support our team in Mexico City, Mexico.

About the Role:

  • This position is located in Mexico City, Mexico, with possible travel to other locations in Mexico, the United States, and other countries.
  • You will assist INL in developing and implementing Rule of Law (ROL) projects, working closely with Government of Mexico (GOM) counterparts to identify needs, draft requirements, and propose solutions.
  • You will also assist INL in coordinating, developing, and implementing projects with US Government inter-agency colleagues, international organizations, and foreign governments outside of Mexico.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing ROL project documentation, requirements documents, and project schedules.
  • You will maintain accurate records of ROL Law project documentation.
  • This position description serves as a general outline of the duties and responsibilities associated with this role.

Qualifications:

  • Mexican Citizen or Third Country National
  • Spanish FSI level 4/4
  • English FSI level 4/4
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, criminal justice, law enforcement, social sciences, or a related field, with a master's degree in one of these fields
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in Criminal Litigation, with at least five years' experience in the new criminal accusatorial system and understanding of the U.S. legal system
  • Ability to pass a U.S. Embassy RSO security background check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior U.S. and GOM officials
  • Experience in drafting and authoring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
